WASHINGTON-Jacob Anthony Chansley (also known as Jake Angeli, 34 years old, from Phoenix, Arizona) was today sentenced to prison 41 for crimes committed during the destruction of the U.S. Capitol on January 6 Months, this disrupted the joint meeting of the U.S. Congress, which was in the process of determining and counting the electoral votes related to the presidential election. The defendant wears a Viking hat and holds a 6-foot long spear. He is one of the top 30 thugs in the building.

According to court documents, Chanceley was one of the people who passed the western cordon of the U.S. Capitol. He went into battle shirtless, wearing a Viking hat with fur and horns, painted in red, white and blue topcoat, holding an American flag tied to a pole with sharp objects and loudspeakers on the tip of the pole. He and the others in the crowd crossed the cordon and entered the scaffolding erected at the top of the stairs leading to the lower west platform of the building before the inauguration. Then they entered Shangxitai at about 2:10 pm because the certification process is still in progress. At approximately 2:14 pm, Chansley continued into the building through a broken door. He went on to reach the Senate Gallery, and then to the Senate floor. Then he stepped onto the Senate podium and sat on the seat occupied by Vice President Mike Pence an hour ago. Chansley continued to take pictures of himself on the podium and refused to vacate his seat when requested by law enforcement. Instead, he said "Mike Pence is a damn traitor" and wrote a note on the available paper on the podium, saying, "It's just a matter of time. Justice is coming!" He further called other mobs to the podium, And lead them to recite spells on his loudspeaker. At about 3:09 pm, he was released from the secret room

Chansley was arrested on January 9, 2021 and has been detained ever since. He pleaded guilty to obstructing official proceedings in the District of Columbia on September 3, 2021. In addition to imprisonment, Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered him to pay $2,000 in damages. He must also accept three years of supervision and release after serving his sentence.
